This portable, direct-read instrument performs both quantitative measurements of known substances and identifies unknown gases. The SapphIRe uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) analytical bench and is actually 4 instruments in 1! Survey mode quantifies a compound and measure concentrations of multiple compounds (and compensates for interfering compounds), Area monitoring mode measures changes in concentration levels and the Scanning mode performs an IR spectral scan of an air sample to identify many unknowns.
